Nice dark robe. Beautiful creamy brownish head.
Roasted malts, grilled bread and a bit of chocolate and coffee for the smell. .9
Roasted toast attack. .9
Then a few coffee notes develop. It’s a little bit aqueous which makes it refreshing and thirst quenching. .8
The aftertaste is a bit aqueous. We have a few roasted notes of coffee there. .8
Overall, if the goal is to have a light porter that you can sip all night long without worrying about getting too drunk while enjoying it, then this beer really achieves it! It’s refreshing and good. .9

At the 2021 San Antonio Beer Festival with my son-in-law.
Supersweet, thick and creamy. Dark chocolate with peanut butter. Strong alcohol presents. Excellent.

This is a black kveik lager. It taste like a schwarzbier to me. Maybe they are basically the same.
Hits you with some chocolate at first but fades a little. Has a light char taste to it. It kind of has a stout like taste although this is very thin.

Okay. I found my 4 star Texas beer plus. This is an APA that is so juicy you'd think it is an IPA. It is unfiltered with tons of tropical fruit to it. Has some bitterness with light grapefruit & pine to go with it. It is yummy.
I'll be ordering another. My quest is complete.
