I found this little gem at a wine festival of all places. The craft brewery in question had quite a few really interesting experiments, including a beer made from quince, but this one was my favorite and I had to bring a bottle back. The scent is an otherworldly mix of chestnut puree and a Hungarian dessert known as Somloi galuska. It smells quite sweet but thankfully it's followed by a sharp bitterness that balances everything out. My only gripe is how hard it is to get, since they don't have any plans to sell it outside of the festivals they attend.
