Beer #2 is basically clear, with a faint haze only, and colors amber. A clean white fluffy head. Wheat malt, biscuit and orange peel in the scent. Very much the same cocktail on the tongue, as well: wheat malt, biscuit and orange peel. Adding lemon and a yeasty touch though. Feels light, slightly stuffy, soft, smooth and savory.

A local brewpub. Four beers of their own on tap. A fairly basic offer. Let me try two. Beer #1 is clear copper. A creamy moussy head whose duration is phenomenal. Don't know if it's the foamy cap or what but I fail to get any olfactory nuance at all. Completely numb. The taste is reasonable, yet not particularly challenging: malt, biscuit, orange pith, faint resin and grass. A good quaffer. The mouthfeel is light, soft, smooth, distantly dry and moderately drying. Easy.
