Had very low expectations for this but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised! Is very light, crisp and slightly sweet with a watery malt profile and virtually no hop bitterness. The aroma is very faint on the nose, offering subtle hints of light malt and faint grain with a taste that has a strong hint of rice. Very easy to drink, and ideal with Chinese dishes.

At last. A beer with some flavour. Despite the szechuan peppercorns dulling my sense of taste! It's a quite hoppy, relatively strong beer at 4.7%.

Slightly more flavorful than the usual Chinese fare.
