Backlog from April 11th
Taste has roasted malts, chocolate and coffee notes. Smooth mouthfeel, nice porter. No frills, no adjuncts, just a good beer. 3.75/5

Caramel and bready aroma. Taste has caramel, breadiness and semisweet malts. Tasty and refreshing. Great warm weather beer. I love a good amber ale. 4/5

Very citrusy aroma. Taste has grapefruit front and center, followed by citrusy hops and oranges. Slightly bitter finish. Medium body with medium-ish carbonation. This would probably be really good for the summer. Solid 4/5

Tastes like an IPA with less flavor. Not bad, but par for the course. 3.5/5

Lansing area Barrel Aged Beer Trail stop #9 of 9
This is phenomenal. They nailed it. Based on my memory, this is right up there with Backwoods Bastard from Founders, as far as bourbon barrel aged scotch ales go. Caramel notes throughout along with delicious bourbon undertones. New favorite from this brewery.
Delicious way to end this barrel aged beer trail. I hope they do it again next year.

Tasty N.E. IPA. Taste has oranges, grapefruit and maybe some mango. Some bitterness on the mid-palate and back end. One of the better New England IPAs I've ever had, and this is only a small brewpub. Bravo, well done! High 4/5
