Turbid, dirty light brown beer... Looks oxidized... Hmmm. Carbonation is brave as it produces a creamy head, both as for the color and the texture, that exceeds one finger. The foamy lid melts quickly to a messy lace ring that orbits on the top. Tight covering remains on the glass for long. Ripe fruity scent. I'm picking bags of apricot and mango, some cantaloupe, as well. Slightly sweet biscuity and sugary, maybe also distantly perfumy. The taste profile offers less ripe fruits and introduces a crisp sector. The recognizable flavors include grapefruit pulp, a sigh of resin, dried apricot, wheat malt and a bit of oatmeal. The body is light minus, actually close to thin. The finish gears a couple of rolls toward the crisp components. Citrusy for sure, also a tad resinous. I like the fact that the character changes from tropical ripeness to crispness. Time can never mend the careless whispers of the aftertaste; to the heart and mind, ignorance is kind, there's no comfort in the truth, pain is all the aftertaste will find. The mouthfeel is light minus, medium-crisp, zesty, modestly resinous and unfortunately also somewhat characterless. The good thing is that this is not metallic, nor overly bitter. Still not a winner.
