This has a melon taste with some apricot and light pineapple. About 1/2 thru I get some artificial cherry, almost medicinal, that comes mainly in the aftertaste. Also, the cherry taste starts getting a little stronger as I finish. Lightly hoppy. Has a somewhat sweet malt but hidden in the background. Also comes out more towards the end. Fairly thick. A nice DIPA. The artificial cherry didn’t help it or it probably be a 3.8/3.9. Canned 1/2/25. So not the freshest. Doesn’t help that I had it in the fridge for a month before getting to it. Might need to start prioritizing beers by the date listed. I never thought of doing that.
