A Houston Texas beer I brought back but only found one. No duo with Ryan. Never had a Platypus brewing beer before.
Head is as tall as the beers itself. Really thick, heavy and lasting. Medium yellow color, misty haze. Effervescent. Still waiting on the head to die down. Okay, finally. Sweet aroma, citrusy. Still bubbly in the mouth. Flavor definitely brings on a very tart and sour citrus. Second pour into the glass was insane. Went out of the glass like a volcano. Didn't see that coming. Now another long wait. Finding some sweet honey towards the middle as the balance evens out. Goes into the finish smoothly with sweetness and just a touch of tart.
I did not enjoy all of the effervescence that they used. But once the beer calmed down it improved vastly. They simply over carbonated this. Have patience and let it rest and it's still a decent beer.

Great afternoon in Houston with family. Trying another unique Texas beer. This one a coffee porter.
Cold coffee aroma. Almost clear dark brown with hints of red in the color. Light crisp texture, cold coffee with low bitterness flavor. Finish brings light notes of chocolate. This is delicious and very, very drinkable.
