First pint in Tajikistan, not great. Potent and bitter aftertaste. I was not expecting much decent beer from the country to begin with. Excellent price though.

The beer pours transparent, pale golden with regular, sustained carbonation. Forms less than one finger tall head, color is white and texture is velvety. The foam adorns the top relatively long, then becomes a thin lacing.
Nose is interesting: sweet butter. Quite powerful diacetylic aroma but with a somewhat sweet twist, as if still in process.
Tastes standard pale malty, not particularly thin. Diacetyl is more restrained than in scent but still detectable. Hoppiness is rather weak. The label argues that the beer should still be consumable for several months.
The body is light-medium to medium. The beer ends with slightly buttery popcorn and a bit bitter hops. The aftertaste lingers on tongue for quite some time, losing though much of its edge quickly.
Mouthfeel is light, strange as if still fermenting, and crisp. Diacetylic and, hence, clearly flawed.
