In colour, it's somewhere between a ruby ale and a porter. In flavour, weirdly, it's about the same. Sharp Italy, with a lovely, smooth texture which melts into coffee and malts. It doesn't score highly as a porter because it doesn't behave like one. Maybe it's these balmy summer conditions, but it deserves to be enjoyed next to a fire.

Rich and fruity, but with a long, bitter hop tail. Like a mixture of the previous two beers. Not sure about what makes it medical though...

Nice and fruity. Almost needs more hops for a bit of balance actually. Preferable to the Good as Gold lager.

It sort of grunts as it enters the mouth. A strong, malty/hoppy punch which disappears pretty rapidly. Not amazing.
