Maregade - Danish for Mare Street, language fans, and chosen for the head brewer's links to that nation - took over where Howling Hops left off in late 2015, brewing in the cellar of The Cock Tavern in Hackney when HH sought bigger premises. Maregade themselves have now moved on, to a Homerton archway. Beers vary from the straight-forward - Blonde Pale was their first - to the more inventive.
