I love a good ESB, and I've enjoyed some very good coffee beers so of course I'm excited about this. It shows off a lovely red colour but doesn't have much of a head to speak about. The nose is simply a slightly creamy lightly brewed coffee with a small hint of caramel or toffee. Very coffee. The flavour is very much the same as the aroma but with pine. A light inoffensive pine. You can taste the beer underneath that is the ESB and what you can get is great. But the coffee is excellent. A fine brew indeed. Almost as Good as the coffee lager I love so much called Nightwatch.
