After a few lighter drinks, the Turtles decided to go to the Darkside. It has a nice malty aroma and taste, with a slight fruity note mixed in. There is a subtle sweetness, but it soon gives way to an enjoyable bitterness to finish. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale. It could have received a slightly better rating but suffered from the usual JDW curse, as expected. If it were slightly different, I'd probably have scored it around 4.

Decent drink with a nice malty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice malty taste mixed in. Slight hoppiness, but very subtle. Caramel-like taste with a subtle sweetness to finish, balanced out with a nice bitter aftertaste. Very smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

Still a decent drink. Same details as before, but it seems more malty and flavoursome than before. Still a good session ale that's totally quaffable.

A decent drink with a nice, almost floral, hoppy aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Hoppy taste with a nice fruity undertone. Slightly sweet finish, but balanced out with a bitter aftertaste. Another very smooth and easy-drinking session ale.
