A proper golden ale with a slightly fruity, complex maltiness, a fine hop flavour and a smooth dry finish.

Very fruity and quite sweet, wouldn't know it was 4%, seems lighter.

A little fruity, a little bitter. Just like my ex wife

A golden coloured strong bitter that blends fruitiness with a hoppy, aromatic and dry bitterness. A smooth floral ale with a complex, slightly sweet malt with a creamy bitterness and a smooth lasting finish. A fantastic beer indeed!

A malty, nutty sweetness to this pleasant Wiltshire bitter

Malty, light bodied and smooth. Not too bitter, as bitters go! And quite sweet. Pleasant.

Still a decent drink despite the colour. It might look like washing-up liquid, but it tastes better. Nice subtle fruitiness with an enjoyable bitterness to finish. A smooth and easy-drinking session ale that's totally quaffable.

This is the third time trying it, and in a different venue; I probably won't have it elsewhere. I've probably been a bit mean with my score before, hence the slightly higher rating this time. Same profile as before, but it seems more creamy and fruity than before. Still a good session ale.
