Tastes more like a sweet wine but as I was nosing it, tiny bubbles were popping on my nose. This is sweet, period. Black Cherry flavor is spot on but you have to take this for what it is- wine/ soda pop with alcohol. The 8 %...only way to know it's there is reading on the can
