Watching the World Cup soccer game between belgium and iran with my son. He played college soccer so he loves it. Combining birthdays and Father's Day so we have a house full while he cooks ribs. This is a sour and I have a lot of respect for Aslin beers. Little head, opaque haze with a deep rose color. Mixture of berries in the aroma, only blueberry detectable. Soft clean texture. Immediate tart flavor, blueberry first then the blackberry arrives. Smooth, well balanced, nothing artificial, good strength of flavor, tart more than sour. A sour that I would gladly have again.

It says on the can it’s a DIPA with mango and vanilla for $3 and some change. That sucked me in plus it is a 19.2 oz (568 ml) can that is colorful and nice looking. This has a lot of mango with vanilla. It’s like a mango creamsicle. There are a couple problems tho. The vanilla tastes a little artificial. Second issue is I think they forgot to add the hoppy bite in my can. I think there is a touch. I think it’s really a hint+ at best. It does hide the abv very well. Overall I think it’s a double milkshake IPA that is missing any real hoppy bite. It looks like they use a Julian date code on the bottom of the can. 26008. So that is Jan 8, 2026. I wish they’d just standardized it.
