Haven't had a Davenports beer in decades, proper blast from the past. Anyway onto the beer review. A decent drink with a nice citrusy, hoppy aroma. It has a creamy mouthfeel with a similar taste profile, but with a slightly more pronounced grapefruit note. The finish is slightly sweet, but balanced out with a nice bitter aftertaste. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

A lovely bitter, malty and tastes and smells old school.
