In Texas, at Whiskey River Ranch, having another brew with my nephew Scott.
Has a delicately high head. Aroma is definitely coffee, surprising for a cream ale. Color is an orangish amber. Flavor is distinctly coffee, but not the good roasted kind, more of a bitter day old coffee. Has some nice vanilla creaminess at the midpoint and during the finish, but the coffee is not smooth, too raw and bitter.

In Texas, on the Guadalupe River, at Whiskey River Ranch enjoying some good brews.
Opaque brown color, lightly carbonated. Coconut aroma. Not thick or creamy. First flavor is the coconut followed simultaneously with coffee and sweet dark chocolate. Finish combines the flavors with a short measure of bitterness. Also seems a little dry. Alcohol is totally hidden.

At my sister's Whiskey River Ranch enjoying a brew from Keller Texas. SOTS World Cup in the background.
Head on this brew is on the high side, dark tan. Aroma is a sweet peppermint. Color is an almost opaque brown. Flavor is instantly peppermint and a dark bittersweet chocolate. Tastes just like a Peppermint Pattie desert mint. In the US, this is a mint made by Hershey's chocolate. Finish has a strong bittersweet chocolate mint flavor.
If they were trying to emulate a Hershey's peppermint patty, they have done an excellent job.
