Another brew at the Thirsty Peret, my son-in-laws home. A black lager. Very nice brown head. Strong sweet malt aroma. Flavor presents a biting deep charred malt, dry and a sharp bitterness. Not for the beginner. When I first started with craft beer, I would have poured this down the drain. But a little experience has taught me to appreciate what the brewer is attempting to create. Because of this, I believe this is a good dark lager. Not for everyone, but if you want to enjoy something different, this is actually good.

This is this year's first entry into SOTS Impress the Beer Master competition. Very low head, hazy, orange gold color. Orange peel from the beginning. Very light on bitterness. Extremely repressing. Very nice IPA for an outdoor for an outdoor event. Starting SOTS right.

Light and crisp; straw colored, not overly hoppy. Paired well with the delicious bacon cheeseburger that they also serve at the Brewery.

At Clear Springs with family. Great experience, loud chaos notwithstanding. New Braunfels Texas is a German town so need to have a German style pils. Plenty of flavor, pilsner malt apparent from the start. Hop bitterness begins in the middle and continues through the finish. Much more of a Czech type pilsner than German. Its just OK.
