Paahtomaltaisen tukeva. Epäipamainen. Enemmän omaan suuhun lähempänä tummia makuja ilman makeutta.

At Hutton and Smith Brewery trying out some beers that are not distributed widely. The master Brewer was here getting the specific gravity of a new batch of Red Dirt IPA. Allowed us to have a taste directly from the vat. Almost no carbonation but what a thrill. Really hazy almost muddy. Orange with a brown tint. Definitely orange peel with a little Amber ale thrown in. Has a small bitterness kick to it. Again some carbonation would probably make this an excellent brew. He said it's not quite ready to release as he's measuring its specific gravity. I did not post an alcohol content or a rating since it's still waiting to be released.

At the Hutton and Smith Brewery trying out some of the beers that they do not put in cans. This one is a Scottish ale. In a sniffer so no head available. Deep copper red in color, clear. Good mild beer but did not taste much like a Scottish ale. Much more resembles a red ale. Mild Amber roast with an easy smooth malt flavor. Get a little bit of a lemon in the background during the finish. Soft and very drinkable.

Out at the Hutton and Smith Brewery here in Chattanooga. Asked for a beer that they do not sell in cans. They have a nice dry Stout with a low alcohol content which is perfect since I'm driving. Not much aroma in this 5 oz taster. Roasted deep malt, has a cola flavor. Has a little bite bitterness. Turns a little bittersweet in the finish as the dryness continues. Pretty good beer.

In person beer tasting. A Chattanooga brewery that makes some decent beers. Small head, light yellow clear color. Malt with lemon pith. Turns bitter in the finish. Has a ehite wood aftertaste. Not my favorite.

In Texas with family. The effervescents exploded on just a small amount of liquid in the glass. Will need to wait a while to give this a try. Creaminess on the surface is lasting long after the pour. Soft smooth texture. Deep roasted heavy malt, the correct amount of spice, not overdone. Feels like a fireside brew with winter time in a glass. Good.
