I'm visiting here in Rapid South dakota, trying the local. Beer is sour, but the taste is tange.

Visiting Mitchell, South Dakota and having a beer in the Depot Pub that is a renovated train depot from 1908. This place is historic and beautiful. First beer on a flight of four. Very deep reddish brown color, clear. Crisp and earthy, notes of deep roasted coffee and a little cocoa. Some mild bitterness accompanies the finish with some caramel soft sweetness.

Stopped in Mitchell South Dakota on my way to Montana. Enjoying this beer from Swordfish South Dakota, a brewery not far from here. Beautiful light orange amber color, totally clear. Crisp texture. Light roasted malt with some woodsy sweetness coming toward the finish.
