Au service une couleur brun/orangé et une mousse dense. Au nez c'est léger, les céréales ressortent. En bouche l'alcool et une amertume ferme l'emportent. C'est fort, et ça reste sur la longueur. Dommage.

Yllättävän hyvä. Odotin viinaisuutta, mutta on kyllä pehmeää ja jopa makeaa. Kylkeen vielä pieni tiramisu-likööri, niin on ollut paskempiakin kisastudioita.

Let‘s oil the gears of life. Aus der Steam Brew Reihe also heute das „German Red“. Ein kastanienbraunes Rot mit dezentem, feinporigen Schaum offenbart sich im Glas. Es riecht süßlich, fast karamellig. Im Antrunk habe ich mehr Wumms erwartet von 7,9%vol. Das Bockbier kaschiert den Alkohol clever, dafür kommt es aber auch nicht richtig aus der Reserve und bleibt charakterschwach. Unterm Strich eine bietet Lidl hier Zugang zu einer relevanten Bier-Spezialität, ohne eine Krone der Schöpfung zu präsentieren. Salut!
