Corsendonk Bruin
6.5% Brown Ale
This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

This is more like what I was expecting from a Belgian friend: a decent drink with a nice malty aroma and a slight chocolate note. Similar taste profile, but with a more pronounced chocolate flavor. A subtle licorice note adds a slight sweetness, which gives way to a nice bitter finish. A smooth and easy-drinking ale for an enjoyable session. Just take it easy because of the ABV; having said that, the ABV for the one I had was only 6.0%. Only đŸș😅
