Lucid, gold beer with effervescent, sustained carbonation unlocks a white, tiny-bubbled head that falls short of one finger and settles hastily down to frazil-icy lacing wafting on the surface.
The fragrance is truly thin, portraying pale malt in a watery form, added by a hint of bitter crackers and a whisper of honey.
The palate displays watery pale malt with a faint twist of crackers. Sweet nuances, such a honey, are fortunately absent from the tongue. The hops are mild and faintly bitter but recognizeable.
The body is skinny. The beer ends rather quickly with distantly bitter pale malt, a faint idea of light-grassy hops and a pinch of crackers.
The mouthfeel is thin and a tad watery, very bulky and slightly crisp. Rather lame and unappealing but not exactly bad for 2.5 %.
NOTE: This beer's barcode leads to James Boag‘s Premium Lager 5.0 %, too.
