Opaque, deep brown beer with powerful effervescent carbonation produces thin, fawn-yellow, velvety head that later settles to totally still. Nose senses oversweet malt extract, hefty molasses and brown sugar.
The taste is sappy, sugary and soft-drink-like. Malt extract and molasses dominate the palate. Bags of brown sugar and sweet brown cookies follow just behind the back.
The body is light but, due to the overwhelming sugar content, it feels thickish as if light-medium. The beer finishes with the same lip-glueing elements as upfront.
Mouthfeel is significantly sappy, lip-glueing, a bit thick, very soft-drink-like and rather homebrewish.
Not bad for a non-alcoholic morning juice though.
