Extra fruity lager with Cara malt and copper caramel colour

It’s not bad, a little sweet for my liking but, reasonably priced (as you’d expect from Aldi) certainly an easy drinking steam lager, although not a patch on Anchor beers.

I reviewed this some time ago and wasn't massively impressed. Just tried it again and I think it's brilliant. If you like Hophouse 13, you'll like this - it's a slightly more subtle variation in the lager/pale ale hybrid style. Important note: just like Hop 13 this needs to be well chilled!
