This is one of those beers that really falls in between styles. I'm ok with that.
They call it a dry hopped pale ale but it falls more in line with an IPA.
It is a very good looking beer showing off a nice golden color and an active lively white foamy head that has some decent staying power.
The hops are certainly performing the main stage in this show of aromatic delights. Mainly citrus and tropical (maybe passion fruit). I can pick out the oats as well.
The medium body of the beer is delivered with a creamy softness that slightly coats the mouth in a nice way.
The flavour profile is very much an ipa style too. The hops once again take the lead. Citrus, pine, tropicals, and slightly resinous, the hops are used to good effect. There is more of the malt available on.the tongue than there was in the nose, but it is still mild and restrained. Oat, pale malt, and a doughy bread are what I'm getting. It's good enough for me.
