A pale bitter with subtle character and an outstanding hoppy finish using Citra and Aurora hops.

One of the greats from derby, which happens to be the beer capital of the country by the way 😉

Good golden colour ale with a great bitter taste. Slight overtones of toffee/caramel. Good drinking beer.

The second bitter I’ve liked in the last 24 hours... what’s happened to me?! A smooth and rather hoppy drink

Looks like nothing special - cloudy and very little carbonation. It's billed as a "pale golden bitter". It looks like a light amber ale. Crisp, balanced hop flavours and finish, as advertised. What I can't believe is that the label completely omits the best feature of this ale; the caramel aroma and flavour notes which make this a very nice ale, even though it looks like crap.
