This 2.25 % supermarket ultralight lager pours transparent, gold. The standard, sustained carbonation releases a white small-bubbled head that barely builds itself up to one finger. The foamy cap disappears hastily and melts down to a thin lace ring on top only. The scent is a rather standard low-alc beer fragrance: sweet malt, a bit of biscuit, distant bread and nonexistent hops. The taste is basically no different: the malt is not that sweet but faintly bitter. A small amendment of crackers follows behind. The hops are significantly oppressed and almost dead. The body is watery. The beer continues unchanged from upfront to the finish. The aftertaste is surprisingly medium. The mouthfeel is thin, bulky, industrial and distantly crisp. Decent though for 2.25 %.
