The added herbs (botanicals) make this interesting, but no more -- not everything imaginative necessarily works.

Interesting. From the very first sip there’s a botanical quality to it. This is followed by a spicy, heady flavour and aftertaste which are certainly different to anything I’ve had before. Overall, a decent drink.

Imagine a gin mixed with a lager and this is the result! The first sip of this beer, i didnt like it but it begins to grow on you. Lemon and lime aromas give way to herbal, spicy hop flavours and finally a dry, pleasantly bitter aftertaste which, according to the label, is created by adding gin botanicals to the brew, such a ground juniper berries and crushed coriander seeds. Crisp and sharp, with a distinctive gin flavour, this is a classic example of a tonic beer!

Gin botanicals in the flavour and aftertaste also hops from the lager. A funny one as I think it works ok
