Solidarity beer #15 🇺🇦 Impenetrable, bright black beer with lazy carbonation unleashes a beige messy head that climbs three fingers high. The protracted retention maintains a billowy lace ring and haze really long on the top. The glass is left with a zillion small traces all over. Cacao nibs, milk chocolate and vanilla feature nicely in the fragrance. Lactose is unmistakable. A sweet coffeeish wisp emanates finally to my nostrils. The taste profile is sweet but not as sweet as what the olfactory supply suggests. I pick lactose, first and foremost, cacao nibs, milk chocolate and a silent sigh of caramel. The oaty injection is apparent and softens the modest harshness. The coffeeish touch is more pronounced now. The body is light although the sweet adjuncts boost it a bit more. The finish elevates the bitter side of the coffee higher and intensifies the raw cacao element at the expense of the consumer-friendly flavors. The finish lingers on the tastebuds for quite some time. The mouthfeel is light, round, smooth, adjuncted and desserty. Somewhat lip-glueing but not really sticky. The finish offers moderate dryness but it vanishes rapidly.
