Abita Turbodog is a dark brown ale brewed with Willamette hops and a combination of British pale, crystal and chocolate malts. This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate-toffee like flavor.

The best stout I’ve ever had hands down! Effervescent with coffee and cocoa notes. The only thing in the world better than Guiness!!! 😍🤤

This is one of the beers I brought to my son-in-law in Texas. We are doing our Duo thing again. I love Abita and I love brown ales so this should be great.
This brown head started strong, looked thick but surprisingly after a minute it disappeared. Has a very faint dark cherry aroma dominated by a deep heavy malt. When held to the light it appears ruby red. Texture is not heavy, as expected. Flavor is heavy on a roasted malt, lightly sweet. Finish brings a roasted sweet bark, like from a fruit tree. Finishes late with some nutty bitterness. Having enjoyed this slowly, the beer develops and as it warms the flavors evolve. A distinctive semi-sweet toffee now dominates the start. The roasted malt subsides bringing a bread quality. Even the bitterness now is simply dry.
Interesting beer. Evolving as it warms gives it a mysterious quality. A fine brown ale.
