Rock Python

Crisp, clean and refreshing. A classic German pilsner, combining light malt flavours, balanced with a flavoursome hoppy bitterness. SIBA Regional Silver Winner 2017

Quite nice but nothing to rave about. Cool artwork though.

Earthy hop profile with a lingering bitterness. The distinctive biscuity malt flavour is lacking and it isn’t as crisp as I’d like for a pilsner. Slight metallic yeasty aftertaste

Now that I’ve actually been to Plžen and tried a variety of Pilsner beer I can say confidently that this has nothing on a proper Pilsner. Having said that, it’s not bad. It’s just now t great! There’s an earthiness about the malt profile that lingers longer than it should and in fact overpowers any other flavours. It isn’t as crisp as a Pilsner should be and lacks the subtleties that make a Pilsner distinctively a Pilsner

A good, classic, earthy pilsner with a strange (but not unpleasant) herby follow-through.

Tobacco and must smelling. Not a nice beer at all. Quite flat but with a golden colour. It’s local but that’s no excuse or reason to drink it.
