Figs, fig leaves, fig branches and oak. Aged in retired bourbon casks, it has vanilla and oaky flavours.

Bière surprenante avec un goût de figue au début suivi d'un goût de spéculoos. Bonne piousse

I bought this a couple of weeks ago at the Wild Beer Co bar in Cheltenham. This pours a deep, dark brown. It almost tastes like Christmas in a glass. The taste reminds me of dried figs and muscovado sugar, with hints of spice. There are subtle notes of the old bourbon barrels they have been aged in. I am pleased to have tasted it but I wouldn't want another as it is a little heavy.

Stout acide légère, goût de fumé et de chocolat. 😋
