Pflaumenbier. Interessant, so etwas gab es bisher nicht. Geschmacklich sind Pflaume, Karamell und Malz vertreten. Zu Beginn fällt die Süße sofort auf, stört aber nicht weiter. Hm. Ich bin ein wenig unschlüssig was ich davon halten soll…

My souvenir from Poland  🇵🇱 The beer pours brilliant, Earl Grey tea hued. The visible, short-lived carbonation unleashes a tiny-bubbled, vanilla-colored head that reaches two fingers. The foamy pillow contracts soon to a thin, patchy, moldy layer on the top. The retreating foam marks the glass with several small vertical splatters. The scent is like thin unsweetened fruit juice. Canned plum emanates to the nostrils, followed by a bit of purple gooseberry, grape and a crack of cookie. The tongue receives rather distinct plum juice, some ripe apple, a tad purple gooseberry and another pinch of purple grape. I can also pick late summer blackcurrant leaves, a whisper of garden blueberry, a tiny dollop of tea and sweet caramel malt. Quite interesting! The body is light-medium. It surprises me since the ABV is only 4.4 %. It's probably a result of residual sugars that fools my gustatory sense. The beer finishes with faintly bitter but still at least medium-sweet medley of plum, black tea, purple gooseberry and purple grape. Blackcurrant leaves feature also identifiably on the sides of the tongue. The aftertaste rolls on tongue over medium duration. The mouthfeel is slightly lip-glueing, rather juicy, summery but not particularly refreshing, yet surely not heavy either. It's also distantly tea-like, perhaps even jam-like but portrays also mouth-drying characteristics. Quite nice for a light-alc Fruit Beer.

Ein Pflaumen aus Polen steht auf dem Verkostungsprogramm. 4,4% Akohol stehen im Buche. Das Bier ist glanzfein und bernsteinfarben. Neben dem Karamellmalz kommt Plaume zum Vorschein. Es erimnert etwas an den Pflaumenschnaps beim Chinesen. Im Antrunk fällt zuerst die begeitende metallische Note auf, welche sich im Trinkverlauf etwas anschwächt. Der Geschmack von Ume-Plaume ist prägend. Nur halt ohne den Alkohol den man vom Schnaps kennt. Das Bier ist schlank bis mittel vom Körper mit ausreichender Kohlensäure um ein süffiges Bier abzugeben. Die Süße bleibt im Rahmen, Bittere ist kaum vorhanden. Ich mag dieses polnischen Plaumenbiere.
