It's time for the 12 days of Milkshake Stouts (11 for me due to my peanut allergy). I'm going to try 1 each day over 11 straight days. I've had a few of these from last year's pack, but most are different from last year. Last year's pack was mostly a disappointment, but they changed it up enough that I decided to buy it this year. Enough rambling... This one was in last year's pack. Milk chocolate in the aroma. Sweet lactose aroma as well. Taste has chocolate, lactose and roasted malts. The roasted malts lend a slight bitterness to balance the sweetness of the chocolate and lactose. Medium-thin body with a medium carbonation. I like it. It's nothing special, but it tastes like it should. 3.5/5

Chocolate and sweet on the nose. Taste is much of the same. Very tasty. Just as good as I remember it being the first time I had it. I'd purchase this as a standalone beer. 4/5
