More awesomeness from my new favourite brewery that is also very local to me within 5 mile drive .

Excellently defined fruit aromas and a great fruit taste and a slight I mean very very slight coffee background .
This is excellent beer and doesn’t taste the strength at all.
This brewery is very under rated but I advise you to try their stouts if nothing else !

We had to close the Winter Ale Festival as we had run out of beer. The thirsty people of Cambridge had drunk us dry. Almost. Some of the best beers were sort of retained, for the volunteers. This was one of them, which is my beer of the festival. That’s it until May.

I had this one yesterday and I had to try it again. Such a nice beer, strong, full bodied, tasty, and very drinkable despite being 8.5%. Quite remarkable.

Wow, so nice and would never guess it’s 8.5%, or that we have had it in storage since the summer festival in May!
