The scent of our brewery on brew days is irresistible. Akin to the morning’s first brewed batch of perfectly roasted coffee, the aromas envelope you and cause the corners of your lips to curl into the slightest unconscious smile. In this brew, lightly toasted malts with subtly spicy hops blend into cinnamon flavors and creamy lactose sugar. Their coalescence is so uncannily close to fresh baked cinnamon rolls that it was impossible to name this beer anything other than Cinnamon Roll Imperial Ale! Pairs perfectly with eggs benedict at brunch, after dinner, or next to the fire for an unforgettable nightcap.

I had this one about a year and a half ago and while I thought it was spot on for the flavor of a cinnamon roll, it was just too sweet for me. My local liquor store discounted the 500ml bottles of this to $3.99, so I decided to give it another try.
Huge cinnamon right up front. Smells just like I walked into a kitchen where someone just finished baking cinnamon rolls. Taste has much of the same, except the cinnamon isn't as powerful as it was in the aroma. They nailed the flavor. Medium+ body with a medium-low amount of carbonation. I'll decide by the end of the bottle how much I actually enjoy this. Will update with a rating soon...
It's good, but despite my love for sweet beers, this one is a bit too rich for me. 3.75/5

Nice medium head. Not much aroma. Beautiful deep red clear color. Wow! Very sweet, strong cinnamon roll flavor. Strong sweet cinnamon finish that lasts. Enjoyed but wouldn't buy a six pack.

Cinnamon, cinnamon and some cinnamon. A little raisin. Tastes like the name. I'm always impressed how they can match them up. For me this is one to try but won't look to drink down the road.

Decent imperial ale. Not getting a ton of the spice flavor. Bit of a letdown.
