Another, not necessarily so attractive Long Drink... Looks lucid, pale gold. Fizzy carbonation. A bubbly head exceeds one finger and dissipates hastily to a hair-thin lace ring in the sides. Smells like an energy drink. That means bullsh*t. Mixed dried fruit and Pommac. Dried apricot, bitter orange peel, fruit winegum, a pinch of raisin and cane sugar. Nope. I 👎🏻 energy drinks, why would this make a difference? The taste is exactly like an energy drink and Pommac. The same components of dried apricot, bitter orange peel, fruit winegum, cane sugar and a suggestion of raisin try to seduce my tastebuds. Sweet. Sugary. The list of ingredients doesn't reveal if this contains caffeine or taurine but I wouldn't be surprised. Not my cuppa anyway. Ends unchanged. Leaves a lip-glueing, soft-drink-like — or should I say energy-drink-like? — sensation in the mouth. Synthetic, industrial, fizzy and somewhat sappy. Btw, this is labeled as a Long Drink but this hasn't even seen a Long Drink. More like a Mixed Drink. If I can't sleep tonight, I'll blame this! 🫵🏻
