Really disappointed ridiculously over carbonated for a gloopy beer. I had to stop pouring as it gushed over the glass rim. I ended up pouring what was left into a pint glass. Really dark chocolate coloured beer with a huge creamy mocha coloured head. The aroma is rather delicate and difficult shall I say it’s unusual but has a medicinal odour. There’s a cardamom and rose bouquet coming through but despite its flirting doesn’t entice me. The flavours are as the nose and are bold enough to stand up and give an opinion but it wasn’t worth listening to. The follow through is a little spicy and surprisingly there’s a light sourness which becomes a little bitter. In the end it’s more like the aftertaste of sucking a cough drop. First Weird Beard beer I didn’t like.
