Malty, smooth, hoppy. A really fine bitter.

Pint at The Gatehouse, JD Wetherspoon's.
Colour: Murky copper
Smell: dried fruit, raisins, dates, astringent alcohol - cheap musk.
Flavour profile: chestnuts, mild oakiness, up front cream on the mouth feel with a good bitterness on the back end. Fairly well balanced beer. Enjoyable

Very nice classic bitter from cask. Dry, fresh, smooth, easy, malty, caramel and bread. Nice bitter finish.
