My souvenir from the 🇹🇷 airport. Ended up in the Finnish forest. Not sure how it works here but at least Saison fits the season. We are trying to find false morels, so far only very few small ones found. The beer is enjoyed straight from the bottle. No assessment of the appearance. The beer emits wheat malt, a drop of lemon zest and a floral hint. The taste profile is fresh and springly: I pick lemon zest and pith, wheat malt and a suggestion of elderflower juice. Maybe also some yeast can be identified among the gustatory supply. Very nice! The body is light. The finish is otherwise closer to the actual flavor package but a remote coniferous vibe emerges for the first time. The end is relatively fast. The mouthfeel is light, quite effervescent, zesty, floral, refreshing and springly. Effervescence can be explained by the best before that is on 6 June. Other than that, the age has treated this beer well.
