Kindred Kunindra 6.5%, Fierce Beer Ltd, Scotland
19 notes
3.1
Kindred Kunindra
6.5% Spiced Beer
This beer is a real mouthful of Asian flavours all wrapped up in a smooth roasty stout. The cooling coconut and kaffir lime pair perfectly with eastern spices and cayenne heat to develop many layers of sensory awesomeness.

How weird is life. I had to leave the Fierce bar and come here to try this baby. It's a Thai curry in a glass. The initial nose is just a normal porter. Oh no it isn't. The taste of the coconut milk mixed with some mild chilli is just off the scale. The smoothness of the finish makes this a beer you must find. Fierce don't make bad beer.

Still good. Small patch edition 11. This time with a side dish of sweet cherries 🍒 which worked out well. A small batch Thai Coconut Porter. Lightly sweet and bitter with Asian spices roaming around. Kaffir lime, tea, coconut, toffee, dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Finishing off with a light chili 🌶 warmth that builds up as you go on. Lighter bodied than I was expecting but still a interesting specialty.

Nyt on erikoinen litku. Tuoksuu Baileysilta. Maistuu sekasotkulta. Omituisia hedelmiä, savuisuutta. Veikkaan että ripsaa on luvassa kun tämän viimeistelee.
