Lemongrass American Wheat
5.5% Wheat Beer / Wheat Ale
This non-traditional wheat beer pours with an off-white head and spicy lemon citrus hits the nose immediately. The Sorachi Ace hops provide lemony qualities that work in unison with the lemongrass. From start to finish you will find a balanced wheat ale with a crisp mouth feel and moderate hop bitterness. This new and unique addition to the tap list is crisp and delicious.

Good refreshing starter to the eve. Would be great with a curry.

Light and citrusy, dry, a little disappointing

Lemongrass American Wheat Beer from West Sixth Brewing of Lexington Kentucky ... when pouring it looked like it was a luminous yellow colour, strange ... you get the notes of lemon citrus and the taste is mildly hoppy and very crisp ... 5.5% ... not bad

Not really enamoured with this. There is a lemony taste there but it’s very feint. Couldn’t really say lemongrass either. No other discernible wheat beer characteristics either. It’s just a fairly bland golden ale.

Quite a disappointment, didn't really get much wheat or lemongrass coming through

The 8th and last beer from this month's Beer 52 box 😢 It was certainly a good box. Unfortunately, I'm not ending on a high 😕 I don't really get either of the wheat or lemongrass that are supposed to be in it. I get some hops but with that soap-like flavour. It's okay but not great.

Pretty good for me. On the way to Brooklyn’s Sorrachi Ace but not quite there
