In the production of A. Le Coq Imperial Extra Double Stout we have endeavoured to follow the original recipe as closely as possible. It is a rich, dark beer with a dense brown head, dominated by dark-roasted malt barley and, typical of beers of the era, a hint of oakiness with autumn berries and sherry. The bottle has its own original label design.

Hieman nousee arvio aiemmasta. Saippuamainen vaahto tulee lasiin pitkäksi aikaa. Salmiakki tuntuu tuoksussa ja maussa ja enemmän se oikea salmiakki kuin lakritsi, jota joskus näihin laitetaan ja arvostellaan. Mukavan tumma, maltainen ja tästä voi sanoa että on salmiakkimainen, ei siirappinen. Vahva runko, ja tehot jää taustalle täysin. Hieno tuote!
