The latest addition to the otter stable is DPA or Devon Pale Ale. With hoppy highs and malty depths it's a nod to the American craft beer movement that really took off in the early 2000's with the classic double-hopped IPAs.

Subtle slight toffee taste with a lovely amber colour, very easy to drink. If it packed slightly more of a punch it would be 4 stars

This is a very nice American style IPA. Malty and hoppy but not too much of either, goes down a treat.

I picked this up when in Exmouth on the weekend. Quite fruity with a nice malt backbone and a lingering slightly bitter finish from the hops.

I like this ale. It states hoppy highs and malty depths but in truth it has neither. Very well balanced taste which isn't as strong as the ABV suggests. I would look for this again.

A nice malty pale with a nice hop taste with it . A dark golden beer with a slight white head going down a treat ! Got some more new beers in to try !
