📅🎅 Day 11 : Légère mais avec de belles notes torréfiées.

A Dubbel for a meal accompaniment. Why not? I'm on vacation! The beer is basically translucent. The color is chestnut brown. The carbonation is vivid. A cappuccino-colored head with a few minuscule bubbles here and there exceeds one finger and dissolves gradually to a thick creamy lace ring in the sides. Several traces are visible on the glass thereafter. Caramel malt dominates the scent. The auxiliary variables include dark chocolate, syrup, molasses, coffee and brownie. Promising. Pretty stable path on the tongue, too. I'm picking hefty caramel malt, cacao nibs, chocolate, a whisper of cold-brew coffee, a nutty hint and faint syrup. Not sure if I spot molasses there... Probably not this time. The body is medium-full. The finish introduces a bit more bitter flavors than before. Especially the sweet-leaning malt turns more bitter here. Down in the underground; a land serene; a crystal moon, the aftertaste's only forever, not long at all. The mouthfeel is medium-full, lip-glueing, soft, smooth and balanced. Ends slightly crisp and drying.

Tumma dubbel. Hieman makea ja paahteinen. Aika vetinen, mutta ihan kelvollinen.
