Happy NATIONAL DRINK BEER DAY 🍺 Celebrated annually on September 28. What a fantastic excuse to... you know what I mean! 😅 A semicloudy copper beer fills the glass. The carbonation is a bit restless as it unleashes a fluffy off-white head up to three fingers. The retention is medium-long and maintains a dense lacing for a long time. Several smaller traces remain in the rim of the glass. Faintly sweet-leaning malt hovers in the air, biscuity, too, but I can't spot any candi sugar here. A little injection of dried apricot can also be found in the scent. Distantly grassy, too, but that's pretty much everything I'm able to observe here. The taste profile is fairly attractive: I like the intensive malty punch and its followers, biscuit, water cracker, dried apricot, citrus and ample yeast. The package is nicely balanced. The body is medium-full. The finish offers the same cocktail as before. Oh, the air feels heavy; everything just passes by; and I think that I'm a little shy; meet me outside above ground; I see the aftertaste on my way. The mouthfeel is medium-full, balanced, smooth, slightly frothy and characterful. A bit Belgiany, too. Surprisingly gulpable.
