Another week, another departure beer ✈️🍺 The beer is semilucid gold. The carbonation behaves alright, no abrupt impulses. A snow-white fluffy head remains below two fingers. The foam leaves the rim of the glass totally messed with a dense lacing. The scent is strongly grassy, even a tad floral. The malty support feels vague and thin. Grass intensifies on the tongue, followed by an unmistakable floral slam, as if dandelion. The hoppy sector is definitely not numb. It makes itself felt. Or tasted. Or whatever. Just like in the fragrance, the malt is really subdued here. I wish for more malt though. Instead, I'm getting bitter grapefruit pith. The body is light as expected. The tail is bitter, grassy, strawy and citrusy but the floral slam vanishes almost completely. The mouthfeel is light, crisp, somewhat dry, drying and surprisingly floral. I guess this would work neatly with a meal but not so much as a standalone tasting. No complaints though.
