Querkus
4.7% Golden Ale / Blond Ale
Aged in oak casks for a magnificently deep, rich flavour, bursts of acorn and sweet vanilla navigate the palate. Subtle and sturdy.

drinkable, not entirely tasteless, and would have again but nothing special iโ€™m afraid ... let me now correct myself: as it warmed up a little, the advertised flavours came out to play. i actually quite like this!

Quite sweet and surprisingly unhoppy in this day and age. Didnโ€™t get any vanilla, nor the warming whisky aftertaste but a relatively nice ale.
